Crysis Review

While crysis was and still is the most graphically intensive game can it hold up on consoles and actually answer the question WILL IT RUN CRYSIS
\
Story and Graphics - It tells the story of nomad a member of a secret solider team on a mission to rescue a scientist by the Name of Rosenthall. You soon realize that you and the Koreans are not the only ones on the island as a mysterious force is picking off your team. The story is pretty decent and overall keep me playing throughout the 10 hours of story. While the games story is decent the graphics are still the best. The enviorment and textures look great and the use of the cry engine 3 makes the game run excellent. There is some graphical hitches such as a choppy frame rate when there is too much going on and due to the lack of antiailsing the trees and textures have rough edges witch can distract from the otherwise beautiful experience.

Game play- The game follows a similar premise of other fps's with a few twists. You have complete access the the nano suit which has 4 core functions Speed, Strength, Armor, and cloak. These can provide tactical advantages to the game giving you the option for example you can sneak around all the guards or you can go in guns a blazing with armor mode. There are also a decent variety of guns such as sniper rifles, rocket launchers, machine guns, shotguns as well as other "interesting weapons". You can also summon super human strength and grab enemys by the throat and throw them like rag dolls which is really fun. There are also side missions you can complete witch can help you get enemy locations helping you with future missions. Unfortunatly the non inclusion of the multiplayer expansion crysis wars can kill the replay value for this game since there is nothing else other than the story.

Bottom Line- Is the game worth a buy? Well that depends do you want to play crysis on your ps3 and want it to look good then pick it up from the playstation store or xbl marketplace. But if you want more replay value then look elsewhere the game is only for people that didnt yet experience the crysis story and want a fun time with the single player. This game is a solid 8.5 out of 10

Medal Of Honor Review i

When i heard there was a new Medal Of Honor Game I was a Little skeptical. Not only was this the first time it was to be set during a different time it was to be set in current day Afghanistan. This is still a very sore area for many people and i was worried about how they portray the soldiers that die everyday. Thankfully Ea pulled This off very well. Their are some bugs but that shouldn't detract from the overall experience.

Presentation and Story
Overall The game looks stunning. The games run off the frostbite1.5 engine that powered Battlefield Bad company 2. Lighting effects are nice and explosions are realistic. Textures are also crisp and realistic with the implementation of destructible cover But unfortunately The night levels don't have as much polish. Levels at Night can be too dark and mission are Not clearly marked at all times. There is also the issue of Frame rate with this game. Since The ps3 and xbox 360 are only capable of certain things this can be a very annoying issue with too much happening on the screen at the same time and the system not being able to keep Up. The story is of two soldiers in the ever growing war against terror. Unfortunately like many other fps both protagonists are silent. This is a problem because there is no character development here which can leave you feel like you cant connect to them. Lastly The game is short it will take you about 6-7 hours to beat an there is also a multi player portion This what you most likely will be playing for a while.

Game play- Now we're down to the meat and bones of the game. This a Fps so its very straightforward. You are in the middle of a war zone and you clear out a set amount of enemies using pistols, shotguns, grenades and machine guns. The missions switch between the the two soldiers similar to that of Call Of Duty. There are also stealth missions and vehicle driving missions that feel refreshing unfortunately though there are not enough missions to keep the game felling fresh and cause the game to become a repetitive shooting gallery. The inclusion of multi player is a great one. There are custom classes, kill streaks, and other unlock ables. I kinda wish That DICE put in a create a character function but i believe they did an admirable job just like they did with battlefield bad company 2.

Conclusion- The question everyone wants to know is it is a good game. By all means yes it is. Sure there are some technical problems but they can be looked passed. This game is one of the best shooters out There. In  My book its an        8.5 I hope you enjoyed this review i will link my video review below.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAqpW5_T1ew
